The Gated Community

Veggie Tales: Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler‘s Silly Song harkens us back to the classic “Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps” in that it uses a barbershop quartet styling of the music.  On the one side of a gated community’s fence is Larry the cucumber, who happened to kick his ball up a tree and into the fence and he’s hoping that one of the people inside the community will get it and return it to him.

Alas, all they want to do is stand around and sing about how great it is inside their community.  (Though they eventually hit him in the head with it as he walks off.)

It’s a catchy tune, and it’s a ditty whose music will get into your head, but the words aren’t as catchy.  Check it out for yourself…
